The New Mutants was anticipated to be something good for the viewers but for now it’s known for pushing it’s release date. The New Mutants release date was orignally planned to be in April 2018. Since then, it has had 2 other release dates besides the April 2018 and the latest release date. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, it’s release was again pushed with an unknown release date. Some fans even believed that It’d never be released and they’re never going to see it. But a good news has come out via the official Twitter account of The New Mutants film that it is going to release on 28th of August this year.
Some fans theorized that The New Mutants will directly go to streaming services, skipping it’s theatrical release. That’s because Artemis Fowl, another Disney film will be skipping theatrical release and directly head to streaming services. But, with The New Mutants, it is going to be different as the tweet itself confirms that the X-Men spin-off will hit the theatres on 28th of August.

Obviously, X-Men franchise has always been a good experience for the viewers. Though, most of the fans were dissapointed after watching The Dark Phoenix. But anyways, the story of everyone’s favourite Logan ended very emotionally yet perfectly, well that’s another matter. It is confirmed that The New Mutants is ready to give you horrifying, thrilling and some queerly romantic scenes this august.
The New Mutants was rumored to be the first installment of a trilogy. Obviously X-Men franchise has had several trilogies but speaking of The New Mutants trilogy. All three films were planned to be horror films. The first one being Supernatural horror and the creators weren’t sure about the rest.
